Did you know that my "Happy Face” came by accident? 6 years ago on my birthday, my sons and I had dinner at Cityplaza. We passed by a set up imitating a magazine cover. I rushed immediately into the set up and asked my sons to take pictures of me doing all the poses as a cover girl. Sounded silly but I had so much fun. 😆 I love the one with my hands holding my face (see if you can identify which one). It will bring smile to me whenever I see it.
During the development of our Wellness Tea Bags, 7 tea blends with names that are very Hong Kong (a mix of Cantonese and English) and one can make immediate connections with like Leng Lui Tea, Kiss Kiss Tea, Poop Poop Tea, my "Happy Face" popped up in my mind and I decided to include my face in each pack of tea. Haha!
We launched this range in supermarkets in 2020 before the pandemic. The whole world experienced chaos and social distancing. Sales were not as good as expected but as time went by, customers are drawn to us gradually. The usual questions and comments I received from them are "Is that you?" "Hahaha... You are so cute" "Looking at your face makes me happy right away" 😊
Then I decided to put my face out in more MingCha products. It radiates out and creates more connection. 💑
I am truly grateful that my face has a purpose in life - to make people happy🌈. It is my wish and MingCha's mission and vision to continue to bring happiness and health through tea.
