
What's in Our Name?
MingCha takes its name from 明 — a character rich in meaning. It speaks of clarity, brightness, and deep understanding; an open mind that sees the world as it truly is.
明 also honours the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644), the golden age of Chinese tea. It was during this era that loose-leaf tea replaced compressed cakes, and the art of steeping was born — a practice we carry forward to this day.
We are dedicated to revitalising fine teas for everyday life, presenting them in ways that invite you to listen, understand, and be transformed. The more you know tea, the more you will respect, appreciate, and benefit from it.

Jasmine Blossoms (The Tea That Connects The World)
Jasmine Blossoms is MingCha's most celebrated creation — a blooming tea handcrafted from the finest green tea buds and young leaves, woven together with air-dried Lily and Thousand Day Red flowers, then jasmine-scented six times using a patented process unique to MingCha.
As it unfurls in water, it reveals a breathtaking bloom — a tea that is as beautiful to watch as it is to savour. Its aroma is fresh and floral, its taste refreshing and naturally sweet, with a lingering jasmine finish that is both calming and uplifting.
